Rei Naito’s “come and live – go and live” at Tokyo National Museum

Jun 25, 2024 at 9:30am ~ Sep 23, 2024 at 5:00pm

Rei Naito has been creating works based on the question “Is our existence on the Earth a blessing in itself?” Her newest exhibition “come and live – go and live” was created through her encounters with the Tokyo National Museum’s collection and architecture. In her work, life and death are explored as something inseparable. The exhibition spaces are illuminated by natural light and transformed by weather and time. We invite you to experience the spirituality and creative power that connect us with the people of ancient times.

Nick Gericke

Growing up in a peaceful neighborhood in Berlin, Nick sought a little more thrill in life. Initially coming to Japan to study, he eventually pursued becoming a writer. Most days he's outside exploring the city or enjoying the seasonal flowers in a nearby park.
