Circuit of Change : Winter Closet Clean Out

In The Loop is urging us to take a look into our closet and partake in donating articles of clothings we don’t need anymore. 92 million tons of textile waste is produced globally every year. The new year gives many of us the urge to purge our closets but instead of tossing our clothes in the trash, let’s create our own system of circular textile exchange!
You are welcomed to bring up to 20 pieces of clothings to the event!
Bring as many of your gently used clothes. During the event feel free to try on and take home as many items as you want. Any items left over at 17:00 will be donated to the Japanese NPO Furugi de Vaccine.
About Furugi de Vaccine
Based in Japan, Furugi de Vaccine is an NPO that collects and ships used clothing to developing
countries. The clothing is then sold and reused locally helping to create jobs within the local economy. In addition to donating he clothes, for each donation bag purchased 5 polio vaccines are donated to children in need.
