KITTE: 10th Summer Program

In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the JP Tower commercial facility “KITTE”, this year, the theme is “The Milky Way”. A grand Milky Way will appear on the 1st-floor atrium, made from 10,000 balloons to create a 25-meter-long objet d’art. A special light-up show will commence in alignment with the songs “Planetarium” and “Hoshi-Sei” by Ai Otsuka, the official ambassador of this event.

“Starry Sky Connects Japan!” by photographer KAGAYA will be held simultaneously. About 30 photographs decorate the atrium, including photographs of summer skies from all over the country, representing a miraculous moment woven by stars. In addition, the XR art content “ Milky Way Galaxy Diving” will be held for 10 days.
Finally, a collaboration campaign with Konica Minolta Planetaria TOKYO (Yurakucho) will be held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the planetarium.
