This autumn, Tokyo will briefly host the Arctic through sound with Svalbard. MUSIC for ISOLATION is releasing Svalbard, an album recorded in June 2024 across the remote Svalbard archipelago. The music incorporates on-site field recordings: ice calving, seabird colonies, and Arctic winds—woven into live performance.

On September 20th, Tokyo FM will shine a spotlight on this unique album, an unusual meeting of music, travel, and environment.
