MAKI Gallery showcases the captivating artistry of Japanese talent Tomohito Ushiro in his inaugural solo exhibition, “NEW NUDE,” hosted at Maebashi Galleria Gallery 2. Ushiro, formerly an art director in the digital media realm, made a remarkable transition to the physical art world with his debut solo show, “Pointed,” at MAKI Gallery in December 2022.
The exhibition unveils eight masterpieces from Ushiro’s “NEW NUDE” and “Vague Portraits” series, emphasizing his ongoing exploration of transforming photographs into paintings. Additionally, the collection features sculptures from his thought-provoking “Balloon” series.
