On 9 June 9, “Rock Day”(*), LUNA SEA guitarists SUGIZO and INORAN will hold a live event “SUGIZO vs INORAN PRESENTS BEST BOUT 2021～L2/5～“.(* Because 9 June can also be read as ROKKU in Japanese which sounds like “ROCK” in English.) The long-awaited live event, which made a whirlwind of delight with 2,500 audiences at the first event at Zepp DiverCity in 2016 and evolved and expanded into a tour including overseas in 2017, and is now set for its third one! How will this online event unleash the heat of soul to soul? It will be a great battle.

SUGIZO has been active on a global scale as a member of two of Japan’s most famous Rock bands, LUNA SEA and X JAPAN. At the same time, as a solo artist, he pursues his own unique style of electronic music and has  worked on numerous film and stage soundtracks. In 2020, he re-launched the psychedelic jam band SHAG for the first time in 12 years. In addition to his musical activities, he is actively involved in peace activities, human rights and refugee support activities, renewable energy and environmental activities, and volunteer work in disaster areas. <INORAN>

INORAN started his solo career in 1997.

For his first album “Sou”, he teamed up with world-renowned artist DJ KRUSH to create a cutting-edge hip-hop style of music, which was not yet a major trend in Japan at the time.In recent years of his solo activities, he has always maintained a fresh and innovative approach to his work by performing live with his new unit “Los Cowboys”, which is an offshoot of his solo band style activities, and has also performed at Billboard Live with his solo acoustic unit.
