Dress to impress at Tokyo’s hottest Halloween parties

Tokyo’s top Halloween party is better than ever! On Wednesday, October 28, the Metropolis Glitterball will attract over 1,000 revelers to Nishi-Azabu superclub Alife. As always, the bash features a buffet of excellent food from some of Tokyo’s most popular restaurants; bottomless drinks from 7pm to midnight; a rockin’ costume contest with prizes including five-star hotel stays; and music by top local DJs. Just 1,500 pre-sale tickets are available until 11:59pm on Monday, October 26, for ¥4,000 a pop.

Japan’s biggest Halloween party on October 31 features a costume contest with prizes ranging from cash to a Playstation 3—but be warned, contestants must have original costumes (no store-bought outfits allowed!). DJs include Taku Takahashi (m-flo) and Dexpistols. Trick-and-treaters get in for just ¥2,000, but if you come in civvies you’ll have to pony up ¥4,000.

This Nishi-Azabu favorite is going all out on October 31 with a Jagermeister-sponsored bash. Special celebrity guests will be on hand to judge the costume contest, and winners can take home ¥100,000 in prizes as well as other deals from Jalpak. There’s a ¥1,500 discount if you enter by 11pm, and ladies who show up in costume get in for free until midnight. Otherwise, admission is ¥3,500 for men (w/2 drinks) and ¥2,500 for women (w/2 drinks).

Stop by this party on Saturday, October 31, following the 3,000-strong Halloween parade at Kawasaki’s La Cittadella. Live DJs will be on hand as revelers dance in their costumes.
