The low-budget, faux-documentary Paranormal Activity proved to be the sleeper horror hit of 2009. But how will the film play in Japan? Find out for yourself at a sneak preview on Friday, January 22 at Kudan Kaikan in Kudanshita (www.kudankaikan.or.jp). Metropolis has managed to score 20 pairs of tickets to the screening of Oren Peli’s indie fright-fest, so if you’d like a chance to check it out for free, email your name, address, age and home country to editor@metropolis.co.jp. Include the words “Paranormal Activity” in the subject line. The deadline for applying is Wednesday, January 13, but even if you miss this chance, don’t despair: the film will be released nationwide on January 30.
