As December dawns, chill and crispy, so too arrive the silly stocking stuffers much beloved of gadget makers like Thanko, whose USB Hot Bento Box Pouch is just the ticket for the geeks back home.
Although it’s done the rounds before, the seasonal appeal is strong in this one—grab any food you want to go, stick it in the insulating pouch, and plug the whole thing into a free USB port when you need to heat the eats.
There are two varieties: Super Slim, “for the ladies,” and Compact Type for guys keen on packing in a chunky two-story bento. Either way, they cost ¥1,980 apiece and go up to 60 degrees Celsius. Oh, and you can snag yourself a car adapter, too, if you don’t want to be one of those dweebs who always eat lunch at their desk.
