Feeling the need to display some ink? For one long weekend in October, The Room in Daikanyama plays host to some of Japan’s—and the word’s—most renowned tattoo artists. The annual convention welcomes people of all stripes and features live music, suspension and tattoo performances along with a talk show on Sunday hosted by none other than Horiyoshi III. If you really feel like showing off, King of Tattoo will also hold contests for best tattoo at the fest (back piece, black work, Western and overall) as well as awards for piercings and pinup girls.
