If the announcement of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics has inspired you to get fit, or home run king Wladimir Balentien has motivated you to perfect your swing, then head over to the newly opened Supodori (short for “Sports Dream,” we’re told) and break a sweat. Located in the shadow of Tokyo Dome, the 2,600m² facility offers activities that range from leisurely to grueling. Golfers can hone their skills at a putting area or golf simulators that boast a selection of virtual greens based on real courses around the world. Aspiring Dice-K’s and Ichiros can try the pitching and batting cages that give a printout of your performance. And anyone wanting to emulate Stallone in Cliffhanger, get a pair of rental climbing shoes and head to the bouldering area, where the helpful staff cheer you on and hint at the next hold with a laser pointer. Open daily 10am-10pm.
