Ozzfest may have hit Japan’s shores, but Loud Park is the hoariest headbangers’ fest in the country, dating back over a decade in various forms. This year’s metal summit is headlined by Stone Temple Pilots, who have replaced longtime singer Scott Weiland with Linkin Park belter Chester Bennington. Also in the lineup are Carcass, with their first new album in 17 years, Poland’s Behemoth, Finland’s Lordi and, with more than three decades under their belt, Swedish hair metal outfit Europe.

Loud Park 13 its Saitama Super Arena, Oct 19-20. See details.
