Actress Meisa Kuroki (Crows Zero) has become the face—make that legs—of Uniqlo’s new line of “leggings-pants.” In a TV ad that began airing last month, Kuroki strolls around a conbini wearing the jeans-like tights and checking out the magazines and food selection. That’s a situation that the single Meisa can relate to. “You can wear them to work, go out with your girlfriends, or move freely in them during a date at an amusement park,” said the popular 22-year-old at a promotional event at Spiral Hall in Omotesando. “And combined with a voluminous top, the leg line looks beautiful.”
