From PC games to anime and manga, the kawai-sugiru craze—in which straight men fetishize boys dressed as girls—shows no sign of letting up. Now there’s a magazine just for fans of this kinky niche. Debuting April 24, WAai! features interviews, illustrations, “profiles” of cross-dressing otokonoko characters, an original comic serial, and tips for readers to dress up themselves. The magazine (slogan: “Boys in skirts”) is filled with ads for shops and services aimed at men looking to indulge their hobby, and the inaugural edition even comes with a pair of red girl’s gym shorts—L size, of course.

Published quarterly by Ichijinsha. Available at major bookstores and Amazon Japan for ¥1,200. www.ichijinsha.co.jp
