Tokyo’s oldest expat theater troupe returns with the classic 1930s thriller Night Must Fall. Directed by Tokyo International Players’ Hannah Weakley, the Emlyn Williams  murder mystery follows the attempts of young Olivia to trace a killing to a charismatic page boy who charms his way into the household of Olivia’s aunt—outside whose house the body is found.  Filled with suspense, romance and unexpected humor, Night Must Fall was an instant hit on the West End and Broadway. The play probes the psyche of a killer and asks us to consider why certain people are likely to be forgiven of almost any crime. TIP’s production showcases an all-star cast of expat veterans and newcomers.
