Punters unable to make it to Fuji Rock can look to a number of in-town events by artists on the Fuji bill. Each year Radical Music Network presents Latin rock artists that, were it not for Fuji Rock and promoter Japonicus, would never make it to Japan. Headlining this year’s edition are Puerto Rican-Argentine reggae singer Mimi Maura, rumbustious Barcelona-based rockers Che Sudaka and Scratchy, The Clash’s tour DJ. Rounding out the bill are a number of worthy locals including ska outfit Cool Wise Man and the Caribbean Dandy DJ collective.
