A year and a half after 3/11, an evening of film screenings, musical performances and guest speakers launches a photographic exhibition on the effects of the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear disaster. To be shown is Labor Video Project’s Fukushima Never Again as well as a short film about NPO Peace Boat’s activities in Ishinomaki. The evening will also include an organic buffet by Tengu foods and wind up with a live techno set by Conoley Ospovat. Proceeds are to be donated to Fukushima Kids Peace Boat Project, which takes youth on short trips away from the affected areas on the Peace Boat for cultural exchanges in other parts of the world.
