Speaking from experience, we’ve missed some of the most important phone calls of our lives just because we had our keitai on “manner mode” and didn’t notice it going off. Princeton’s new vibrating Bluetooth bracelet makes such episodes a thing of the past: strap one of these to your wrist and it’ll buzz you every time you get a call. An additional function makes the bracelet vibrate if you stray more than 10 meters away from your handset, ensuring that you don’t accidentally leave it on the train after an all-night bender. If you’ve never felt like you’re chained to your cellphone, you will now.

TPM-ICN Bluetooth bracelet, ¥2,980. Available from major electronics stores. www.princeton.co.jp
