Hiromart Gallery Exhibition: “The Street”

Hiromart Gallery is pleased to present “The Street,” an exhibition of new works by Yuka Goto. The exhibition is composed of two parts, featuring works expressing the joy of our streets in the first part, and the depiction of dreams and illusions in the street in the last half. All works are specially made for this show.

Artist Statement on “The Street” Exhibition:

“The street where we live is a fun place. A variety of building shapes are lined, combined, and filled with colors, stories of nature and people. We look at the street in all viewpoints. We make infinitely free images. At the first part of the exhibition, I expressed the joy of daily life, different people in town, the pleasure of livelihood, and the beauty of nature. For the second part, I painted a slightly scary world filled with mystery and thrills that make us excited. I believe viewers will get fun feelings through these paintings. I stand in the middle of this enjoyment and produce the paintings. These images of the street will unfurl endlessly in the universe.”
