Why not splurge a little when you beat the heat this summer? Until August 31, The Lounge and The Terrace on the ground floor of The Westin Tokyo (1-4-1 Mita, Meguro-ku. Nearest stn: Ebisu) are offering a quintet of cool desserts whipped up by executive pastry chef Kazuo Suzuki. With flavors including peach, chocolate banana and green tea with azuki, each “summer coupe” lays out layers of tastebud delight with high-class combinations of fruit, chocolate, sherbet or ice cream (¥1,800 each).
