Micro-Scooter Japan’s new three-wheeled kickboard is the must-have item among the 3-5-year-old set. Sporting an extra wheel for balance, the scooters come in a kid-friendly neon color range of orange, green and pink. To help promote the line, Micro-Scooter has come up with a friendly, big-eyed cartoon mascot—and is holding a competition to name the little fella. Kids are invited to submit their ideas via the company’s Facebook page or by email to myname@microscooters.co.jp. The winner will receive a “Mini-Micro Friends set,” which includes two scooters and accessory bags in the colors of their choice. Three runners-up will also each receive a free scooter. Deadline: August 20.
