If we spend a lot of time in this column writing about children’s toys, it’s not because we’re immature. Well, there’s a bit of that, but—hey, look at this! Isn’t this amazing? It’s all bright and it’s got all these bits on and… wait, I haven’t finished playing with that yet. Get your own! The multicolored Touch and Learn Crocodile is held together by buttons, zips, poppers and bits of string, which would make it a bit rubbish in a fight with a real crocodile, but is good if you’re teaching your tot how to wrestle with the complexities of each. Suitable for children aged 3 and over.
Touch and Learn Crocodile, ¥3,990. Available from MoMA Design Store: 3F Gyre, 5-10-1 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku. Tel: 03-5468-5801. Open daily 11am-8pm (closed on Gyre hols). Nearest stn: Meiji-Jingumae, exit 4. www.momastore.jp
