The “Brazilian Independence Bicentennial Concert” will be held on September 6 at Meguro Persimmon Hall, featuring colorful and rich Brazilian classical music for the celebration of the bicentennial of Brazilian independence.

The concert will be conducted by Maestro Yusuke Kimoto. The program exclusively features Brazilian composers and traces the history of Brazilian classical music from the 19th century to the present, which includes some Japanese premiers.
