Bearwear, an indie/alternative rock band from Tokyo, released their digital single “Afraid to Know / Shibuya” on September 20.

This song absorbs the two cultures of the live house and club scene, which the members of Bearwear have been intertwined with over the past few years. Lyrical Japanese verses are set on a beat combining emo and trap. The members wore all sorts of hats from song recording to video production. They also announced the release of their second full album which includes this single, and are performing at Shinjuku MARZ just before Christmas. Check out Afraid to Know here.
