Chris Mosdell, longtime resident of Japan, is a leading British lyricist and poet. Tokyo and Kyoto have been central to his lyrical development. At this event, he will talk about their influence on his work, from the early days of YMO, to anime projects (Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Gundam) to his recent Kyoto “courier” poems mimicking the Heian Era. Morgan Fisher will accompany on the keyboard.
