Universal Studios Japan will debut its much-anticipated Donkey Kong attraction next month, kicking off a major expansion of its “Super Nintendo World.” Opening in early 2024, the new area will transport guests to the world of Nintendo’s iconic ape, featuring innovative rides like a mine-cart roller coaster and interactive experiences inspired by the classic Donkey Kong games.

Part of a global Nintendo-themed park initiative, the Donkey Kong expansion is set to elevate Universal Studios Japan as a leader in immersive theme park entertainment, following the success of similar areas at other Universal parks. Expect bigger crowds and even more excitement at the Osaka-based destination when it opens its doors to this thrilling new chapter.
