Yoshino Baigo Plum Blossom Festival (Ume Matsuri)

Feb 21, 2026 at 9:00am ~ Mar 22, 2026 at 8:00pm

Held at Yoshino Baigo Plum Garden in Ome City, the Yoshino Baigo Plum Festival marks ten years since the area’s plum trees were replanted following large-scale removal due to disease. Once known as one of Tokyo’s major plum blossom destinations, the area is steadily reclaiming its status as a seasonal flower spot.

During the festival period, visitors can view the growing plum trees while enjoying related events such as guided walks, stamp rallies, food stalls and local market activities. A pre-opening program celebrating the 10th anniversary of the replanting will also be held from February 14 to 20.
