Hibiya Cinema Festival 2025

The outdoor movie event “HIBIYA CINEMA FESTIVAL 2025” will be held at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya from October 10 to 26. New ways to enjoy movies will be introduced, focusing not just on watching, but on immersive “experiences.” The main theme for this year will be “cinema while doing other things,” combining daytime and nighttime screenings. In addition, the seating will be renovated and viewers will be able to “relax” on the artificial turf that covers the entire plaza .

Night Screen Premium Talk Show

In conjunction with the screening of award-winning films during the first half of the HIBIYA CINEMA FESTIVAL 2025, a premium talk show will take place on the opening day, October 10. This event is part of a collaborative project with the Women’s Journalists Film Awards. The talk show will feature Wakana Matsumoto, ambassador for the Women’s Journalists Film Awards, and Satori Ito, founder of the awards and a renowned film personality and critic. After the talk show, a film selected by Matsumoto, Mamma Mia!, will be screened.
