Held in Yoyogi-park‘s outdoor stage, the event has been ongoing since 1993. This year, guests can expect to be dazzled by Indian dance and music, expand their knowledge through lectures and bookfairs, or feel Indian culture on their skin as they try Saree wearing, Yoga, Ayur Veda, or Mehendi (Henna body art). Of course, don’t forget to indulge your taste buds with tea, spices, and Indian restaurants galore!

On stage, dancers organized by the government of India will perform classical, folk and Bollywood dances, along to classical musical instruments such as the sitar. The event will involve 600 performers, sure to create a dynamic experience.

India-related NGO and NPOs will also have their own booths, as well as the India Japan association, the India tourist office, and the Bank of India. There will be a lotto offering a ticket to India, alongside lots of exciting prizes, so go and try your luck!
