The biggest of Jindaiji’s annual events is the Yakuyoke Gensan Daishi Grand Festival. Typically held on March 3 and 4, the festival coincides with the peak bloom of the red and white plum trees at the temple’s main gate, drawing crowds of more than 100,000 worshippers from early morning in search of Gensan Daishi’s blessings.
