The Shunokai Performance, to be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 (national holiday) at the National Noh Theatre, is a special production organized by Osamu Kobayakawa, a shite (lead actor) of the Kanze school and a holder of the Important Intangible Cultural Heritage designation.

Having devoted many years to engaging with the essence of Noh, Kobayakawa now confronts the question of how Noh can be conveyed in the present age, shaping a full day’s program that weaves together music, literature, Noh, and Kyōgen into a continuous flow.

2026年3月20日（金・祝）、国立能楽堂にて開催される修能会公演は、
観世流シテ方であり、重要無形文化財総合指定保持者である小早川修が主催する特別公演です。
長年、能の本質と向き合い続けてきた小早川が、
「いまの時代に、能をどう届けるか」という問いに向き合い、
音楽・文学・能・狂言を一日の流れとして構成。
