Her love for classic standards began at the age of two after watching The Wizard of Oz, igniting a lifelong fascination with the Great American Songbook. Determined to pursue a career as a singer, Cole studied at the prestigious Northwestern University before relocating to New York to launch her professional career. During the pandemic years of 2020–21, videos she posted on YouTube and TikTok went viral, rapidly elevating her profile.

Her self-titled debut album Stella Cole, produced by acclaimed producer Matt Pierson, drew widespread attention and led to her first visit to Japan. Born in 1999, Cole brings a nostalgic yet elegant sensibility to the Great American Songbook, revealing a timeless charm that resonates across generations.
