Ladies and gentlemen, the 8-bit generation has finally come of (middle) age. Avid videogame geeks who are forced to spend their working hours clad in dreary suits rather than their favorite Zelda T-shirts now have an alternative means of flashing their otaku cred. Banpresto’s new meishi holder is styled after the original dark red Nintendo Famicom controllers (geek note: a second controller model, without Start or Select buttons, is also available). Whip it out at the next networking event you go to, then spend the rest of the night reminiscing about how bloody hard Battletoads was.
Nintendo Family Computer Controller Type Card Case, ¥1,029. Available from Amazon Japan and dedicated purveyors of novelty goods.
