Reserve your spot for a gourmet—yet reasonable—Thanksgiving dinner featuring brown lentil and thyme soup; arugula salad with beetroot and feta cheese; roast turkey with all the trimmings; and homemade pumpkin cheesecake (¥3,500 adults/¥2,500 kids). The enticing Thanksgiving course menu at star chef David Chiddo’s “urban chophouse” includes butternut squash soup with seared scallops; pan-fried foie gras with spicy greens, dates and walnuts; and, of course, roast turkey with chestnut and sausage stuffing and all the fixings (¥8,500). Dessert is a pairing of pumpkin tart and pumpkin gelato. Reservations recommended.

California Grill Yoshi

Checkers & Marble Lounge
These two restaurants at the Hilton Tokyo hotel offer a family-friendly way to celebrate Thanksgiving. At the lobby-level Marble Lounge, the special brunch buffet features over 80 dishes, including traditional roasted turkey and pecan pie, plus a clown performance and special cold-stone “Marble” ice cream (¥6,500 adults/¥3,500 kids). Upstairs at casual brasserie Checkers, the dinner buffet includes turkey with cranberry sauce and glazed ham with apple sauce, plus a selection of more than ten desserts (¥7,480/¥4,950). Guests can add ¥2,772 for a “wine buffet” featuring all-you-can-enjoy wines from around the world.

Head to the classy and resplendent Ekki Bar & Grill and let Executive Chef Tsutomu Konishi prepare your Thanksgiving feast. At lunch, there’s white bean and bacon soup; sautéed spinach and bacon; and roast turkey breast with sweet potato puree and stuffing (¥3,900). Dinner includes all that plus spicy smoked salmon with candied walnuts and turkey casserole (¥6,800)—and what’s more, you can get one free dinner with each group of four people. This restaurant and grill from California-cuisine pioneer Masakatsu Kato will be celebrating Thanksgiving Day with a festive dinner of romaine salad with herb dressing and fruit tomatoes; wild mushroom soup; and roasted turkey from Elements’ wood-fired oven, served with seared foie gras, gravy and cranberry chutney. Dessert is pumpkin pie with vanilla ice cream (¥6,000). Reservations are a must!

Good Honest Grub
Turkey Day at GHG stretches all week, with a course dinner of tomato soup, salad, mashed potatoes with gravy, steamed veggies, and roast turkey with stuffing and homemade cranberry sauce. Vegetarians aren’t left out, either: a meatless option comes in the form of baked tofu, lentils and smoked eggplant, served on a bed of nut-flavored couscous and finished with a sweet bell pepper sauce.
