The Chilean drama Gloria takes a look into life of a 58-year-old divorced woman who refuses to give up on enjoying life and throws herself into the dating scene. In the title role is Paulina Garcia who achieved international recognition after winning the Best Actress award at last year’s Berlinale. Screening from March 1 in Spanish at Human Trust Cinemas in  Shibuya and Yurakucho (www.ht-cinema.com).

Iwanami Hall (2-1 Kanda Jimbocho,Chiyoda-ku; www.iwanami-hall.com) is screening Gebo et L’ombre, the latest work by Portugese filmmaker. Manoel de Oliveira. The world’s oldest-living director, Oliveira recently turned 105.

The National Film Center in Kyobashi (3-7-6 Kyobashi, Chuo-ku; www.momat.go.jp) is offering a look into the creative process of a master director with the exhibition “Iconography of Yasujiro Ozu” on through March 30. Objects on display include diaries, storyboards and set sketches.
