In yet another moronic “found footage” failure, the members of a fake ghost-hunting reality TV show crew lock their cocky selves inside a reputedly haunted former mental hospital for the night, and later wish they hadn’t. Or something. The movie, made by a pretentious pair of perverts calling themselves the “Vicious Brothers,” is absolutely spectacular in its lack of subtlety, and the cast of pretend actors is so uniformly annoying that I found myself rooting for the ghosts. The only thing in this colossally derivative picture that’s unequivocally dead is the found-footage horse they’re beating.
