Back in the heyday of Crocs, the shoemaker was plagued by stories about wearers of its trademark clogs getting their feet caught in escalators. As horrific as such tales were, they’re nothing compared to the fate suffered by Japanese blogger Coetzee, who reported recently that he opened his new Crocs Key Coin Purse the wrong way around in a convenience store… and all the coins fell out. Funny, because we’ve found that the same thing happens with wallets, too. Assuming that you aren’t a complete klutz yourself, these colorful, compact hold-alls are pretty nifty—perfect for outdoors types and clubbers who keep losing their spare change on the dancefloor.

Crocs Key Coin Purse, ¥1,050. Available from Crocs Aoyama: 5-50-6 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku. Tel: 03-5778-9694. Open daily 11am-8pm. www.crocs.co.jp
