Veteran Tokyo radio personality Guy Perryman presents a sprawling UK-style warehouse party at the hip Claska Hotel in Meguro. A spinoff from Perryman’s online Jet Set UK programs, the event celebrates British-Japanese connections with a slew of live performances and DJ sets. Among them will be Ken Machines, the new duo featuring Richard A. Sharpe, techno keyboard wizard from ’90s dance act The Shamen, as well as minimal-techno man Dave Twomey and vintage dub crate-digger Young Jeff. Celebrity UK whisky expert Dave Broom will be plying the crowd with single malts, while leftfield burlesque artist Erochica Bamboo (pictured) will do a “Sex Pistols geisha striptease.” In the Virgin Atlantic Airways Shagadelic Champagne Lounge, visitors just might win a free trip to London.
