Two of New York’s—and the world’s—finest turntablists are currently crisscrossing the planet with their “Anything Goes Tour.” Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez [pictured left] is a four-time Grammy nominee with a catalog that takes in house, hip-hop, Latin, funk and soul. DJ Spinna [pictured right] begins on a more hip-hop tip, but is at home with all forms of dance and black music, and has collaborated with the likes of Eminem before the latter’s rise to fame. Trainspotting DJs are sure to be thick on the ground for this rare joint Japan appearance by two figures who helped write the book on turntablism.
