Call us snobs, but we don’t usually feel much compunction to write about clothes pegs in this column. We’ll make an exception, though, for the Clever Peg, which promises to change the face of washing line-related technology forever. Developed by Aussie company Rimm Industries, this innovative double-action clip can be picked up at either end, speeding things up on Laundry Day while also enabling you to dangle clothes from each other. The all-plastic design means that you won’t have to worry about stains from rusting metal components, either. We never thought we’d say it, but: wow, that’s a neat peg.
Clever Peg, ¥1,200 for 20. Available at branches of Tokyu Hands, Sony Plaza and via www.vanillamonaco.com
