We’ve been known to spend literally days dithering over which gifts to send home to our more discerning family members (the dullard uncle gets socks every time, natch). But even the pickiest relative should be won over by the wares at Yuzya, an online shop that specializes in traditional Japanese handicrafts including ceramics, furoshiki and chopsticks. The clincher is that these can be personalized: how about a lacquer soup bowl with your mother’s name on it, or a wind chime with a personal message for your girlfriend? If you want to take it further, Yuzya also offers original items crafted according to the customer’s own design.
