British DJ Dave Twomey may be absent due to an ongoing battle with illness, but he’s got some serious talent slated for the decks at the Christmas edition of his event, which takes its name from the Mariana Trench. Highlighting the show is Berliner Ben Klock, who fuses industrial austerity, natural musicality and a notable physicality in his monthly sets at influential Berlin club Berghain. Azabu-Juban club Warehouse702 will be given a deep-sea makeover for the upcoming Mariana, with Klock (above) scheduled to take over on the turntables in the wee hours of the morning.
