Still packing out houses across the planet

Former The Smiths frontman and original sad-sack Morrissey arrives for a two-week tour—his first visit to Japan in ten years. Despite lacking a record label (Moz says the follow-up to 2009’s Years of Refusal “grows less and less likely”), Morrissey has been packing out houses across the planet. In addition to classics from his Smiths and solo careers, he’s also been demoing new songs. In his downtime from touring, the singer keeps busy firing up controversies over pet topics like animal rights and the Falklands, and suing the NME.
