Steven Seagal checks in with a new movie, or more accurately the latest iteration of the one movie he always makes. This time he’s a badass, multi-skilled ex-special ops legend on a scum-killing “super-vigilante” mission. He’s Jack Reacher, John Rambo and a ninja all rolled into one. Just fatter. It gets better. The Great Scowling One delivers his hilariously awful lines in his funniest accent, the old New Orleans drawl, and keeps his favorite flab-concealing overcoat and Astroturf rug. It co-stars a pudgy, nearly recognizable Craig Sheffer, who appears to be unaware this is a career-ender. (106 min)
