Fresh off turning in a convincing, rain-soaked headlining performance at Smash’s Fuji Rock Festival 2013, Nine Inch Nails trade promoters and drop in for two nights in Tokyo. If last year was any indication, Trent Reznor’s outfit will produce a set built around their remarkably successful comeback album Hesitation Marks, leavened with plenty of well-known hits from the band’s two-decade history. This time, the thunder-and-lightning will be of the proverbial kind.
