Despite the notoriety that disgraced tarento Nori P has brought to dance music, a healthy lifestyle and club culture are not mutually exclusive. For the forthcoming edition of his electro event Numbers, Tokyo-based Scottish DJ P.O.L. Style presents DJ Sega, a Philadelphia-based producer whose Brick Bandits collective encourages kids to stay on the right track through music. At age 20, Sega (pictured) has already produced over 300 songs and remixes, mostly in the rough-and-ready “Philly Club” style. He tours with the likes of Diplo, M.I.A. and Buraka Som Sistema, and at La Fabrique will be joined by DJs Gaines (Roc Trax), Roger Yamaha (Turntable Lab, Goodnite) and P.O.L. Style himself.
