Tiny Shibuya club The Room has had an impact on Tokyo’s nightlife as big as the club is small. So when impresario Shuya Okino decided to celebrate 20 years in business he aimed for something large and unforgettable. “One Song, One Soul” will see 100 DJs, musicians and vocalists gather at bayside super club Ageha for an unusual tag-team night in which each DJ will spin just one song before handing off the decks to the next turntablist. Among those slated for the gathering are the likes of house veteran Towa Tei (Deee-Lite), chanteuse Lori Fine (Coldfeet), and of course, Okino himself.
