Nikkatsu Corp is reviving its “Roman Porno” series of sexploitation films, which were the movie production company’s hallmark during the ’60s and ’70s. Helping to announce the relaunch recently were actresses Sakiko Takao, 29, Kazuko Shirakawa, 62, and Tomomi Miyauchi, 35 (pictured, left to right). Takao and Miyauchi star in the first movies in the new series, Danchizuma Hirusagari no Joji (Apartment Wife: Affair in the Afternoon) and Ushiro Kara Mae Kara (From the Back and Front). Shirakawa, one of the “Nikkatsu Queens” of the ’70s, starred in the original Danchizuma series.
