Why: Beat the heat with some spine-tingling fun. Tokyo Dome City’s summer scarefest is an annual tradition: this is the 19th to date, all produced by veteran shock master Hirofumi Gomi. The “Ashikari no Ie” (Leg-cutter’s House) is haunted by a female ghost with a thing for other people’s legs—her own having been severed by a cruel, scythe-wielding spouse.
How much: ¥800 (ages 6 and over)
