A duo that only started performing professionally in 2009, Sweet Rose play the Irish harp (small enough to sit on the knee) and sing in exquisite harmony in Japanese, English, Spanish and Italian. Harpists Sayoko and Mayumi charmed audiences at “Japan Day” in Sevilla, Spain in 2012, and often play for audiences of disabled people. For their upcoming concert at Takashimaya Hall in tony Futakotamagawa they’ll interpret Irish and Japanese folklore classics, and pop and Latin songs as well as classical compositions.
